(ts) Der Kosovo hat sich in einer Parlamentsversammlung um ca 15.00 Uhr für unabhängig erklärt.
Damit entsteht ein wohl neues DCXX-Land in Europa.
Laut einer Pressemeldung sind die ersten Funkamateure mit dem Präfix YU8 im Land aktiv .

A multi-national group of Amateur Radio operators is now in Kosovo in
an effort to support and help revitalize Amateur Radio locally. The
initial team members will begin activity today. Activity will be on all
bands on CW and SSB. Look for YU8/G3TXF, YU8/N7NG, YU8/OH2BH, YU8/OH2PM,
YU8/ON8NC and YU8/W3UR. More details will be released when available.
